Good news for Sailor Moon and Nakagawa Shoko music fans! Those of you who are familiar with Nakagawa Shoko, know that she is a die-hard Sailor Moon fan. She cosplays it, buy the toys, and pimps out Sailor Moon’s famous “pose” whenever possible. In one of her previous mini-albums Shokotan☆Cover, she sang the Sailor Moon R ending theme song Otome no Policy. She did an amazing job covering that song, and went on to perform it during her 2009 Magical Tour.
Just last week, the tracklist for Shoko’s upcoming new album Shokotan☆Cover 3 was released, and included in the bonus tracks are Moonlight Densetsu and Sailor Star Song. Both songs are going to be short versions, but I’m so happy! Fans were requesting a studio version of Moonlight Densetsu from Shoko, since she performed it during the NHK program 17th BS Eien no Ongaku in 2009.
The two tracks will only be included in the CD+DVD version of Shokotan☆Cover 3. The album goes on sale March 10, 2010.

That’s great news! I wish her covers of those two opening themes were in full versions, tho, but it’s still awesome! Hope she’ll also cover other Sailor Moon songs in the future - maybe even some PGSM ones, too! ^^
She’s a cool otaku J-pop singer!
=) Yeah, I totally agree with you RC. I really wish the two songs were full versions. Haha. But I’ll take what I can get! I can’t wait to hear her version of “Sailor Star Song!” I hope she sings “Kirari Sailor Dream” someday too!
yaaay, that’s awesome!! Would love to hear it :D
Me too Chibi! >__< I’m so excited. I can’t wait till March. Its too far away!
