Rika Is Engaged!

Thursday, April 1st, 2010

Among the five PGSM Senshi girls, Izumi Rika (Mizuno Ami / Sailor Mercury), the youngest among them, is the first one to be engaged! What a surprise - I have always thought the first one would be Kitagawa Keiko (Hino Rei / Sailor Mars)! She has not announced her wedding date yet, nor has she mentioned about her fiance - I am eager to know who the lucky guy is! Anyway, my big congrats to our Senshi of Water and Intellect! ^___^

Senshi Reunion, with Keiko!!

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

After their PGSM days, the five Senshi actresses have always kept their bonds with each other, even to this day. And a number of Senshi reunions have been continuously held over the years; Not to mention their keeping in touch over the net. However, due to the ascending of Kitagawa Keiko (Hino Rei / Sailor Mars in PGSM) toward A-list artist status, and her resultant heavy workloads, she has been missing in the Senshi reunions for more than half year. So her presence in the one held the night before yesterday is miraculous - Especially as it was organized within a short notice. I think the five busy girls have constantly cross-matched their schedules to squeeze out some precious time slots to meet; Hence their often hurriedly planned meetings.

Happy Lunar New Year!

Friday, February 12th, 2010

恭喜發財!Kung Hei Fat Choi! Happy Year of the Tiger! ^___^ Shown on the left is Izumi Rika’s handwritten New Year’s greeting message earlier this year (unlike the other parts of East Asia, the Japanese have been celebrating the New Year according to the Western calendar since the Meiji Period).

Her handwriting is stylish, and I love that cute tigress she drew.
